Howard Head Sports Medicine 970-476-1225 Make a Gift Jack Friesen Jack Friesen Contact (970) 476-1225 Jack was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and later moved to Raleigh North Carolina with his family. Jack grew up with a passion for hockey, and his skills enabled him to play at the collegiate level at East Carolina University while he pursued his undergraduate degree in exercise physiology. Throughout his undergraduate career Jack spent a large portion of his free time assisting in the training room with a variety of sports and a variety of athletes and developed a strong interest in sports medicine and physical therapy. He went on to earn his doctorate of physical therapy at Duke University and practiced in an outpatient orthopedics clinic in Denver before deciding to pursue advanced post-graduate training in sports medicine through the Howard Head sports residency. As a resident, Jack is now working towards earning his board certification in sports physical therapy. In addition to hockey, Jack enjoys weight lifting, skiing, biking and fishing.
