Jack began his career at Dow Chemical Company, led key design and engineering efforts at Coors Brewery, and then moved on to head new product R&D at PepsiCo. This included creation of the firm's first-ever research lab and pilot plant. Under his leadership, Pepsi enjoyed the successful launch of several key products, including Pepsi Free. Jack moved to Shasta Beverages, Inc. as VP R&D. Jack created Shasta Export Company, an independent company providing soft drink products to Japan and Taiwan, and later founded Bay Pac Beverages, growing the company to $30 million in annual sales before exiting. His third venture, JB Consulting, operates today as an international ingredient sourcing and consulting company, located in Northern California.
