Ian McBeath has held senior executive positions with a number of North American and European biopharmaceutical companies. He has previously served as Vice President Europe for Gensia ( San Diego, Ca.): Chief Executive Officer for Antisoma PLC (London, UK): founding CEO for BioVex (USA & UK) and President & CEO of Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals (Vancouver, BC). Prior to entering the biopharmaceutical industry he held senior management positions within three "blue-chip" pharmaceutical companies, Beecham (now GSK), Johnson & Johnson and ICI (now AstraZeneca), where latterly he was Marketing Director. Mr. McBeath has a broad range of experience covering commercialization, drug discovery and development, financing, partnering, and M&A.
