Greene joins as director of thought leadership within the agency's strategy and research department. In his role, he will contribute to the research-backed insights that drive account strategy and inform creative development for the agency's clients. He will also lead the development of an applied research product that will help brands and manufacturers keep up with the rapidly changing way consumers shop and buy goods. "I have personally experienced the significant shift in the strategies that brands and their agencies must deploy to engage audiences in the changing marketplace," said Greene. "The consumer is leading and it's marketer's jobs to keep up. I am thrilled to dig into the science of understanding the consumer to inform transformative marketing approaches for our clients." Greene has 15 years of marketing agency experience and has worked on a broad range of categories. He spent the last nine years at Trone Brand Energy where he managed integrated account teams that served clients in the consumer-packaged goods and professional channels. He also previously worked with The Sales Factory for two years.

He recently initiated a veterinary thought leadership program for GREENIES that won the Mars subsidiary a corporate Make the Difference award-a first in five years for any North American Mars company. Ian is a native of Greensboro and graduated from Appalachian State University.
