Hernan Gigena - Renaissance M Street Hotel Fall 2009 - Corcoran College of Art + Design - Open Museum Hernan Gigena Works by this artist Corcoran College of Art + Design : Renaissance M Street Hotel Fall 2009 : Hernan Gigena Hernan Gigena Based in Washington DC, Hernan Gigena creates contemporary drawings and collages using new non-toxic paper, masking tape, and acid-free color paper. This technique, which he has developed over the past two years, combines his artist commitment to developing new methods of expression with using environmentally friendly materials. This most recent series focuses on combinations of shape and color while using texture to generate compositions full of passion and movement. Hernan is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires and is currently working towards his Master at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C.
