He first joined Children's board in 2012. Hayes Batson purchased Regency from his father-in-law in 2002 with a vision to deliver a better kind of cosmetology education. Prior to joining Regency, Hayes was president and chief executive officer of Epotec, Inc., a privately-owned behavioral health software company. He has also been a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc. and an investment banker with William Blair & Company L.L.C. Hayes earned his master’s of business administration degree from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business and his bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from Kenyon College.
