Dr Hannah Piterman, PhD; M.Ec; B.Ec (Hons) GAICD Dr Hannah Piterman is an adviser and coach to senior management and boards. She draws on over twenty years of extensive experience in board evaluation and review, executive development and gender diversity to an eclectic client base that includes private and public companies. Dr Piterman's clients have included AHRI, AMP, ASG, Coles Group, CBA, CEDA, CPA Australia, DEEWR, Department of Human Services (VIC), Department of Health and Ageing, Ernst & Young; Fairfax, Freehills, IOR Group Limited, Insurance Australia Group, Leighton's, Monash University, Macquarie Bank, Minerals Council of Australia, NAB, Office for Women (Commonwealth), pitt&sherry, Queensland Health, RACV, The Law Institute of Victoria, The University of Melbourne, SA Government, RMIT and Westpac. Dr Piterman is the author of numerous articles and reports and is a regular contributor to public debate in academic journals, the print media and as a presenter at business forums in Australia and internationally. Dr Piterman's commitment to gender diversity led her to publish "Unlocking Gender Potential: a leader's handbook" in 2010 following her acclaimed two-year research sponsored by major business, government and academic organisations. She maintains academic links through her appointment as an adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, Melbourne. Prior to becoming a consultant Dr Piterman held senior corporate roles in people and culture, and headed a research and consultancy centre at Monash University. Earlier in her career she worked for government and employer organisations.
