Research Assistant at Powell Center Hamed Hakim is a Ph.D. student at the University of Florida and is working as a graduate research assistant at Powell Center for Construction & Environment. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Water Resources from Isfahan University of Technology and he has an M.S. in Construction Engineering Management from University of Florida. Since 2012, he has devoted his time to study and conduct research on green buildings and the sustainable built environment. Hamed has written case-study and paper publications on the status of Net-Zero Energy Schools and is developing this topic over the course of his Ph.D. Hamed has over three years of working experience as a project engineer in commercial building projects, as well as internships in the heavy civil construction.
