Grant Aagard, your Tour Coordinator, has been an avid bicyclist for over 25 years.Grant is a long-time member & past president of Utah's largest and oldest cycling club.He is currently the CEO/CFO of Cyclists Against Drunk Driving (C.A.D.D.) a non-profit 501-c(3) organization that helps cyclists injured in auto/cycle accidents.He has organized hundreds of single day rides from short mileage rides geared for beginners to full centuries drawing over 1000 riders.Before making bicycle touring his profession he was involved with the planning, operation and support of many week long, fully supported tours for other organizations.He has also been on many self supported tours in the Western U.S.In early March 2006 Grant visited Washington, DC thanks to a much appreciated grant from the Salt Lake City Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee (MBAC).This was his third trip to Washington to attend the National Bike Summit produced by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB).While there Grant and most of the 370+ other summit participants lobbied congress for bicycle and pedestrian related causes.
