Graham Huggan Professor of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Literatures, University of Leeds Graham is the Arctic Encounters project leader, overseeing and coordinating all activities associated with the research. He maintains links between Arctic Encounters' principal and associated partners and helps assure the overall quality of all academic and non-academic outputs. Huggan's research spans the field of comparative literary/cultural studies, with much of his recent work situated at the cusp of postcolonial and environmental studies; he is also an acknowledged expert on travel writing.
