Frances Mulcahy
Frances Mulcahy (Chartered Physiotherapist) Graduated with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 2002. She completed an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy from UCL, London in 2006 and PgC in Acupuncture in 2011 from University College Dublin. Frances has further postgraduate training in Orthotics and Occupational Health and is a qualified APPI Pilates instructor. Frances was awarded with CPSEM level 3 accreditation in sports physiotherapy due to her vast experience working with different high level sports teams. She is on the education committee for the specialist sports medicine interest group of the ISCP. She has been a partner at South Tipperary Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic since 2006 and has a special interest in sports and spinal injuries, orthotics, vertigo and vestibular rehabilitation. Frances has vast experience working with sports including GAA, rugby and hockey and has worked as physio to Munster development rugby teams U18-U20 since 2009. Her personal interests include horse riding and running. She is a member of the Clonmel AC and has twice completed the Dublin City marathon. She has also recently competed in triathlons and adventure races.
