He is eager to learn from the new generations of Quest students and excited about collaborating with them on projects that relate to literature, cultural studies, Asian studies, theater, film, visual culture, performance, animal and critical theory, translation, ethnicity studies, and gender and sexuality studies. In his spare time, he loves sports with a racquet: ping-pong, badminton, tennis, squash, racquet ball, you name it. This weekend our Chinese and Theatre professor Fei Shi organized for shuttles to take a group of students and faculty to Vancouver for the Chinese New Year celebrations and parade.
We all piled into the cars and vans early in the morning (8:30 is plenty early on a Sunday, right?) and headed down the Sea to Sky highway- Fei had arranged a reservation for dim sum at the largest Chinese restaurant in North America called Floata.
