She began as a mild/moderate Special Education teacher in DPS and transitioned into a Special Education instructional coaching role with Teach For America for the past two years. Erin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Psychology with a minor in Education, and earned an MA degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Urban Pedagogy from CU-Denver. She is passionate about early intervention, Special Education, and supporting teachers in creating inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive. Erin lives in Northwest Denver with her husband (Luke) and dog (Moose), and is ecstatic about working at a school in her community. Outside of the school day, you can find Erin running during the early hours, working in her garden, cooking, and spending time in the mountains on the weekends with Luke and Moose.
