In 2014 William, along with librettist Eamonn Farrell, was a finalist for the Jonathan Larson Grant, an award given for outstanding achievements in Music Theater, and in 2015 William was given the L.A. Shorts award for Best Original Score for his music in the film "Lucy" (2015).
EAMONN FARRELL (Librettist) Eamonn Farrell is a writer, director, media designer, and founder of the New York City-based, intermedia, theater company, Anonymous Ensemble (AnEn). He holds a bachelor's degree in theater from Duke University and teaches media design for performance at City College and Princeton University. Eamonn creates work at the intersection of live performance and media. We are fast approaching the convergence of film, theater, and interactive media and Eamonn intends to be at the nexus of this thrilling coalescence. Eamonn has designed cutting edge projections and video for all of Anonymous Ensemble's productions for over a decade. AnEn specializes in the seamless integration of live camera work as a means to visually amplify live performance. AnEn has also experimented extensively with web-integrated performance, interactive video-play and innovative live video production. His notable productions as writer/director include: "The Turing Opera" (National Theater of Greece), "I Land" (NC Stage Company, Princeton, Ice Factory Festival, Incubator Arts), "LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! (HERE, Duke, Wesleyan, New Orleans, NC Stage), "The Return" (Theatro Xora, Theatro Roes),"Troop Troupe" (Mabou Mines Residency, La MaMa ETC), "Wanderlust" (Ice Factory Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, Create Festival, Latitude Festival, UK Tour, Norway Tour), and "The Best" (Dixon Place, Ice Factory Festival, Above Ground Zero Festival, GAWK Festival, Brisbane International Festival, Berlin's Neuropolis Festival). Eamonn has designed video for, performed for, and assisted director, Lee Breuer, of Mabou Mines on numerous productions including "La Divina Caricatura," "Glass Guignol," "Gospel at Colonus," "Two Little Indians," "Summa Dramatica," "Porco Morto," "Red Beads," "Choephorae," and the twenty-country, world tour of "Mabou Mines Dollhouse. Eamonn also works around the country and the world as a freelance video designer.
