Debbie Struiksma PT, NCS
Debbie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1996. Since that time she has worked in various clinical settings primarily working with individuals with Vestibular and other Neurologic disorders. Her area of interest is in Vestibular Rehab and she completed her competency at Emory University in 2001. She completed her Neurologic Clinical Specialty in 2005 and was again re-certi fied in 2015 through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has been practicing Vestibular Rehab for over 15 years and has been involved with staff development as Supervisor for the Long Beach Memorial Balance and Dizziness Clinic from 2002 - 2009 and as a Physical Therapist at England Physical Therapy from 2009-2015. In 2015 she joined the Team at Complete Balance Solutions. She enjoys teaching and educating health care professionals on the subject of Vestibular Rehabilitation with opportunities at Chapman University, Cal State Long Beach and the House Ear Clinic.

Deborah Struiksma Deborah Struiksma, PT, NCS, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at California State University in Long Beach in 1996. She has also been certified in the Neurological Clinical Specialty by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has experience in working with patients in the hospital setting as well as the outpatient setting. She completed her vestibular competency certificate in 2001 and supervised balance and vestibular clinics from 2001 to 2009. She has been a clinical mentor for staff treating neurological, movement, and vestibular disorder patients since 2010. Her clinical interests include vestibular rehabilitation and neurologic impairments. In addition to being an active physical therapist, she serves on various vestibular rehabilitation boards and committees through the American Physical Therapy Association. She also lectures at local universities on vestibular rehabilitation and presents at professional conferences. She has been with England Physical Therapy since 2009.
