Blessings, Pastor David Eck
Rev. David Eck has been the pastor of Abiding Savior since 1993. He received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 and graduated with honors. He earned his MDiv from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg in 1988. Pastor Dave is also a PRN Chaplain for Mission Hospital and, in 2016, received a certificate of completion for the Herbal Medicine Making Course at Chestnut School of Merbal Medicine. He is a singer/songwriter who has released a number of worship CDs as well as devotional and liturgical materials. You can find his sermons, poetry and devotionals on his new blog HERE.

Eck is pastor at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Fairview. "They are going to have to basically tell us what to do because I am not going to lie on my taxes," Eck said. It is unclear what might happen to couples like Mitchell and Eck, who plan to file jointly despite the state's regulations. Eck is from Pennsylvania and was called to the area to lead his church. Eck and Mitchell will use Turbo Tax, an electronic program, to file their taxes. "It could be a mess," Eck said.
