Dave Coster, owner of Adell's Antiques, and Billy Vipperman, owner of Antiques & Collectibles, both located on 14th Street West, said the city of Huntington was helpful this year in getting the streets blocked off for the event and that the new attractions seemed to draw renewed interest.
"This year was a success in a lot of ways - attendance, attitude, customer base," Coster said.

One thing that is coming along: Construction on the pedestrian corridor between 10th and 11th streets, behind the building formerly occupied by Love Hardware and currently by Campbell Woods, as well as Mack and Dave's.
David Coster, who opened Adell's antique shop in June is president of the shopkeepers association there and said he's appreciative of what he sees happening. "It's ideal for a retail location, and it hasn't been kept that way," he said.
