After recovering, he was a Writ Server for the City of Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He had a great work ethic. He was a committeeman for the 44th Ward 1st Division for over forty years and was always available to help anyone that was in need.If he couldn't do it himself, he always knew where to refer you.David was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church where he was very active until his illness prevented him from participating. He even adopted two senior citizens to care for with the help of his wife, Rose.He loved to sing, even though he couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.David suffered a long illness, but continued to thrive until he didn't have the strength to fight anymore. He was a courageous man who may have lost the battle to his illness, but he won the war with life.He never gave up, but knew when to give in.He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
