The Detroit East Medical Control Authority (DEMCA) is one of sixty-one Medical Control Authorities (MCA) in the State of Michigan. DEMCA serves as the MCA for the cities of Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Woods, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, Highland Park, and the Village of Grosse Pointe Shores; and/or any other area of the region as defined by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Division of EMS and Trauma .
