Chad Van Alstine

Chad Van Alstine joined The Grupe Company in 2010 and currently serves as Vice President of Grupe’s Southern California Value Add Program. In 2004 Chad joined a private equity firm as a market analyst focusing on the secondary real estate market. Over the next 6 years he was responsible for the acquisition, management and disposition of the firm’s... sub-performing and nonperforming assets. During his tenure Chad established a reputation for consistently delivering annual returns in excess of 25%. In 2010 Chad formed a small team of accomplished individuals to expand The Grupe Company’s reach into the Southern California real estate market. The Long Beach-based office focuses on identifying and acquiring distressed, underperforming apartment and single-family properties. To date he has managed over 1,000 successful real estate transactions that have returned substantial profits to investors. This experience has helped Chad become a leader in the Value-Add sector where he continues to exceed investor expectations, while staying true to his passion of improving and preserving our existing housing infrastructure throughout Southern California. Chad received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, San Marcos. Chad is a Southern California native and enjoys surfing, motorcycles, and coaching his sons’ baseball, FNL, and basketball teams.
