Westborough, Mass.-February 11, 2014-A123 Energy Solutions announced today the addition of Catherine Sullivan as its newest sales executive to increase its coverage for the emerging grid energy storage market.
In this role, Catherine will be responsible for solution sales and business development in the western US region with a focus on California. Based out of the greater Los Angeles area, Catherine brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the utility and energy industries, most recently in energy storage solutions. Prior to this role she has led and developed sales for a variety of companies including ZBB Energy, Ice Energy, Commerce Energy, and divisions of Shell Energy, Southern Company and Enron. "California is embracing storage by enacting new policies like the first statewide energy storage procurement mandate. Changes in the market's evaluation of the benefits and flexibility of energy storage will dictate the need for proven, reliable and safe grid storage solutions," said Catherine.
