Cassey Cinqmars Fisher of Envision Foods, a Jack in the Box franchise group, will present the nonprofit organization with a check for $41,000 during a special event at one of its Apple Valley restaurants.
They raised by money by selling March of Dimes pins. "It took us about 30 days to sell enough pins to reach that mark," said Fisher, who lives in Victorville. "We had 51 locations take part in the campaign and multiple stores sold 500 or more pins a week." Fisher credited Jack in the Box and the work of the entire team at Envision Foods, which was taken over by Terry Shindle and Hamid Sharafatian in 2006. "Envision is wonderful company and they are generous with their employees and the community," said Fisher, 39, who has been with the company for about five years. "Jack in the Box is all about giving and getting involved in the community." Since taking the newly developed position, Fisher said she visited some 800 schools across Southern California where she introduced several incentive programs for students who excel in the classroom. Fisher also has worked with numerous organizations in fundraising efforts, including the LifeStream Blood Bank, the High Desert Mavericks and the "It's a Gas to Go to Class" program run by Victorville Motors. "I believe we've given away nearly $100,000 a year through various programs," Fisher said. "One of biggest joys about working for Envision is helping other people." Fisher said through her daily emotional pain, the word "believe" kept moving her forward. "Anything I do is rooted in believing," Fisher said. "Life will trip you up, but it's how you handle it that really counts. You never stop fighting for what you believe in. I know everything happens for a bigger reason than we could ever imagine." Like Cinqmars, Fisher decided to follow her dreams by unleashing her entrepreneurial spirit and starting Believe Industries, a company that sells wine with the motto, "Hope, Believe & Love Past Forever." "We're working with a small vineyard in Modesto," Fisher said. "We sold out half our inventory and it's mostly been word-of-mouth. We'll be launching our clothing and jewelry line this summer." Fisher's Believe products can be seen on her Cassey-Cinqmars-Believe Facebook page. "Working for Terry Shindle, Hamid Sharafatian and the Envision family has been a wonderful opportunity," Fisher said. Fisher, along with Envision Foods and Jack in the Box corporate members, will make the check presentation at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at the Jack in the Box at 18901 Bear Valley Road, in the Jess Ranch Marketplace in Apple Valley.
