Candace (Candi) Danek is the High School English teacher at Sanborn Central.
She is also responsible for Oral Interp, One-Act Play, All-School Play and the yearbook.
She was a SPED paraprofessional at Sanborn Central before she became the English teacher.
Before that, she taught for 29 years in the South Shore School District.
Mrs. Danek's parents live in Lennox.
She has one sister and brother-in-law, and three nieces.
She is married to Rich Danek, Sanborn Central's Math teacher.
She also has a dog named Rufus.
She received her education at the University of Sioux Falls when it was still known as Sioux Falls College.
