Prior to his tenure at La Salle, Torresani was the assistant head baseball coach at Chestnut Hill College for five seasons. He worked with the pitching staff for the 2010 and 2011 seasons when Chestnut Hill went to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoffs. Before working with the pitching staff, Torresani coached outfielders, first basemen, and catchers along with coaching first base during the 2008 and 2009 campaigns. Additionally, he was heavily involved in fundraising and recruiting for the young baseball program. Bryan Torresani
has been named head baseball coach at Arcadia University. He is the seventh head coach in the NCAA Division III era of the program. He will officially take the reins of the program July 25, 2016. Coach Torresani has deep-rooted recruiting connections to the area, and we are confident that he will do a fantastic job in leading our program." Torresani arrives in Glenside following a four-year run as head baseball coach at Immaculata University, where he amassed a program-record 78 victories while posting four winning seasons and setting the program record for wins three consecutive years. Torresani served as an assistant coach at Division I LaSalle University for the Fall 2012 semester prior to claiming his first collegiate head coaching position. In that role he developed practice plans for hitters, catchers and outfielders, oversaw Explorers' national recruiting efforts, and organized camps and clinics. Prior to his tenure at La Salle, Torresani was the assistant head baseball coach at Division II Chestnut Hill College for five seasons. He worked primarily with the pitching staff for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, which saw the Griffins go to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoffs, and was involved in the team's fundraising and recruiting efforts. While serving as assistant head baseball coach at Chestnut Hill College, Torresani was the Associate Director of Admissions, overseeing a staff of seven that were responsible for all of the College's recruiting efforts. Before moving to Chestnut Hill, Torresani coached baseball and taught social studies at Hatboro-Horsham High School, and was head coach of the Horsham American Legion team for two seasons, both of which ended in the league championship. Torresani is no stranger to the MAC Commonwealth, having started for three seasons at former conference member Elizabethtown College. He helped lead the Blue Jays to three straight postseason appearances, which included winning the MAC Commonwealth title and making an appearance at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 2006. Torresani batted .268 in his three seasons at E-town, totaling 89 hits, 50 runs scored and 55 RBI while posting a .990 fielding percentage at catcher and first base. Torresani earned his bachelor's degree in social studies education from Elizabethtown in 2006, and went on to earn his master's degree in administration of human services at Chestnut Hill in 2010. The Hatboro native currently resides in his hometown with his wife, Chelsea, and their daughter, Paige (3).
