East Cascade Counseling Services LLC - Our Team

Brennon Moore
Brennon Moore is an Oregon native who grew up visiting Bend long before deciding to call Central Oregon home. He has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Southern Oregon University, including a year of study in the Applied Psychology department at University of Cork in Ireland. He went on to complete two years of post-graduate work in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Seattle and he completed his Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis. Brennon's experience in the field began over a decade ago while working with youth in the Middle-East. For the last six years he has worked at The Refuge, a nationally renowned trauma resolution and addiction treatment program where he started a group focused on childhood sexual abuse and addiction. Brennon leads trauma healing workshops nationwide, educates and trains therapists across the country, and is a published author. Brennon is excited to be part of this amazing team and to refocus his attention on doing individual clinical counseling. Brennon believes in the connection between client and therapist, and the process that occurs. He wants to hear each clients story and help them unravel it, however he believes that healing goes beyond talking and that taking action is essential. Brennon's goal is to be the guide that will walk with his clients through the darkness that has been defining their lives for far too long. He utilizes techniques such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Brain Spotting, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based approaches as tools to empower his clients. Brennon is licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapist (LPC) and certified by the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon (CADC II) and is a Nationally Certified Trauma Therapist (CTT)
