Because of the wall of glass, direct sunlight beating down on the traders represented a very real issue that posed challenges when designing the lighting system. "We analyzed the trading arena and the main north arena has a lot of daylight exposure, which was worrisome because it might harm trader productivity.So we came up with some strategies to deal with that, including a huge amount of shading systems to block direct sunlight, integrated with a Lutron custom dimming system," says Yozwiak.
