Prior to her appointment at Carey, she served as the Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, Regina for fifteen years. A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Barbara's Doctor of Ministry thesis project focused on discovering images of God that enable sexually abused women to pray. Barbara has been involved in teaching, pastoral care, leadership development, and mentoring others throughout her career, both within the pastoral context and as a professor.
