President, Barbara Muhlbeier Barbara is an attorney with Pinnacle Bank, a Tennessee bank based in Nashville and is President of the emerging nonprofit, Katmai Conservancy. She attended law school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and has spent over thirty years practicing in Knoxville and Nashville. Although her home has been in Knoxville, Barbara is now spending the majority of her time in Bellingham, Washington with family. She has been involved with public lands through her involvement with the Sierra Club in Knoxville and having served on the board of the Great Smoky Mountains Association for four terms since 1998, and as Chair of the Association for four years. She has recently been working with a small group to create a friend's group for Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Barbara joined the board of the Public Lands Alliance in 2014 and is currently Treasurer of the Alliance.
