Aloys OosterwijkWillems Wereld, by Aloys OosterwijkAloys Oosterwijk studied art in Arnhem and published his first comics in alternative comic publications like De Omelet, Tante Leny Presenteert, De Vrije Balloen and Talent.He is one of the founder members of Studio Arnhem and later of Studio De Wittenkade.In 1978 he made his professional debut with 'Een Keurig Wit Pakje Met Geen Vlekje Besmeurd'.His detective series 'Cor Morelli' was subsequently published in Het Laatste Nieuws, Robbedoes, Eppo, Eppo/Wordt Vervolgd, Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad and Sjosji between 1984 and 1996, as well as in a series of six albums. Cor Morelli, by Aloys Oosterwijk (1985)Between 1991 and 1997, Oosterwijk created several stories for girl magazine Tina, featuring characters like 'Mirte' and 'Blanche & Gijske', the latter with text by Patty Klein.Oosterwijk has additionally made erotic comics for the Spanish magazines Totem El Comix and Kiss.Some of these stories were also published in Playhouse in Holland.Oosterwijk is also active as courtroom artist for Panorama and Algemeen Dagblad.On Friday 21 September 2001, a month-long exposition of the work of Aloys Oosterwijk was opened in Galerie Lambiek.
