For his submission, Alex chose to develop an application that would assist end users with field service activities, an area where he has extensive experience.
The result was an application that allows users to conduct a number of functions from their mobile devices, including: viewing daily schedule and jobs (tickets); contacting customers from within the application via phone or email; obtaining directions to the job site using mapping applications; and recording and viewing job details such as cancellations or reschedules, start/stop times, notes, customer signatures, photos, and work conducted during the job. "The creativity and customer service focus Alex demonstrated in developing the winning application is indicative of the type of customization we strive to deliver to all of our clients," said Sean Mohan, president of Strategic Sales Systems. "We are very proud of Alex and his recent recognition." Alex, who has been with Strategic Sales Systems for the past three years, competed against Saleslogix partners, customers, and certified consultants across the country. The initial group of applications was reviewed by Saleslogix team members and narrowed to four finalists, including Alex.
