Adriana McKinnon

Adriana is a licensed and national board-certified professional counselor, her experience providing advocacy for victims and survivors of interpersonal violence span over 16 years. Adriana’s areas of expertise include her work with individuals, groups, and families in settings such as non-profit organizations, residential treatment centers, and pri... vate practice providing clinical services in the areas of child sexual abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence, human trafficking, and commercial sexual exploitation. Adriana is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of the Coastal Bend and a volunteer advocate for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. Ms. McKinnon’s professional experience includes her previous role as Program Director for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Victoria, Texas, an unaccompanied children’s emergency shelter funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and the Women’s Shelter of South Texas in Corpus Christi, Texas where she served as a Director of Outreach Services.
