ADAM PULVER is an attorney with U.S. Department of Labor's Office of the Solicitor.
He practices in the Civil Rights and Labor Management Division, representing the Department in litigation before federal and administrative courts, drafting regulations and subregulatory guidance, and advising Department officials and members of the public on proceedings relating to anti-discrimination and affirmative action requirements for federal contractors and grant recipients, union democracy issues under the LMRDA, and other issues involving labor and employment. Before he joined the Labor Department, Adam worked at the ACLU of the Nation's Capital, was an associate at Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady LLP, a civil rights litigation boutique, and was a judicial law clerk to three judges of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (a long story). He is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Tufts University. In 2015, he was named one of the nation's Top LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association. He is also a prior winner of the National LGBT Bar's Michael Greenberg National Law Student Writing Competition.
