World of Giving is at the forefront of the Coronavirus relief efforts across the Tri-State area and beyond! How do we do it? By cultivating relatio nships with big-brand retailers, Amazon sellers, and national charities, were able to obtain invaluable overstocked items including diapers, paper goods, cleaning supplies, Personal Protective Equipment, and so much more! We then pass along these top-quality products to those who need them, whether youre a nurse on the front lines of treating the pandemic to a homebound senior citizen who cannot leave their house to buy basic supplies or someone who recently lost their job and now is in need of some assistance. Olam Chesed / World of Giving must bear the costs of transporting, warehousing, and distributing trailer-load of good from firms nationwide. Do a "Smarter" kindness when you donate to World of Giving: every dollar leverages more than 10 dollars worth of life-giving supplies! Thank you so much for your support. After spending hours and hours trying to order disinfectant wipes, paper towels and diapers (among other things!), I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Olam Chesed email from SAR. What I didn't expect was that unpacking the box would become a family affair for my four young children. Although we have plenty of art supplies, the coloring book, cards and crayons from the Olam Chesed box have become treasured objects. Thank you for brightening our week! Thank you to Olam Chesed for the wonderful box of necessities and treats! It was so nice to be able to look forward to picking up the package during a time when we wonder where our next roll of paper towel is coming from! I was fortunate enough to be able to distribute 10 of the boxes of supplies last week to elderly in Riverdale that were very much in need of the items that were put together.
