The name Clinic for Health and Medical Care CHMC reflects our mission to cure and prevent mental health and physical disorders. We are a convenient ly located outpatient clinic in Dubai offering psychiatric, counselling and family medicine treatments. Our psychiatrist and counsellor base their treatment approaches on state-of-the-art diagnostics and carefully thought through treatment goals and plans. Our patients partake in the treatment process and will have the continuity of being seen by the same psychiatrist and counselor on every visit. Our location in the heart of Dubai Healthcare City gives easy access to our cooperating partners should any accessory medical tests become necessary. Dr. Kowal studied human medicine at the medical school of the Ruprechts Karl University in Heidelberg (Germany), which is the oldest, and currently the best ranked, university in Germany (QS World University Ranking). During his studies, he participated in internships at the University of Perugia (Italy), University of Bologna (Italy), University of Warwick (England) and Cambridge (England). After his graduation from the University of Heidelberg, he completed his dissertation at the same university acquiring his doctoral degree. In the following years, he participated in postgraduate training in Psychiatry, Neurology and Internal Medicine, which he finished with the specialty exams in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Medical Chamber Koblenz and in Family Medicine at the Medical Chamber of Hanover. In 2004 Dr. Kowal took up a post as Senior Consultant and Head of Department at the Hochtaunus Hospital for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy near Frankfurt (Germany), followed by a position as Medical Director of Ederbergland Hospital for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy near Marburg (Germany).
