Tiara King is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Retrain the Night, a non-profit organization established with the intent to reduce the demand for commercial sex and sex trafficking by educating those arrested for soliciting prostitutes about the negative consequences of prostitution. Known for her dedication, commitment, passion, and influence i... n the area of sexually offensive behavior and sexual abuse. She advocates for the women, children, and men involved in, or affected by, sexual violence- in every capacity from the victim to the offender. Tiara King collaborates with County, State, and Federal governments, to assist in the comprehensive treatment and supervision of high risk sexual offenders. Through her volunteer efforts she has made remarkable strides for the awareness, prevention, and demand reduction of sex trafficking in Kern County. With a focus on educating the community about the harms of prostitution and enlisting men as allies in the movement to end violence against women and girls, Tiara has contributed to addressing the culture, institutions, and individuals that perpetrate, profit from, or support sexual exploitation.
