Who is Thompson Overhead Doors
Thompson Overhead Doors Inc. is a small family owned business located in Natick who has built it's reputation on selling quality products and provi ding great customer service. I was brought up learning the trade and was working in the business long before I graduated high school. I've been running the day to day operations for 30 years. My name is Chris Bartlett. Thompson Overhead Doors Inc. was established in 1957 by Jim Thompson and was originally called Jim Thompson Inc. The company specialized in the sales, service and installation of garage doors and garage door openers. A lot has changed since 1957, including many aspects of this company. In 1973 Larry and Myrna Bartlett purchased the company from Mr. Thompson and the name was changed to Thompson Overhead Doors Inc. to reflect the type of work being done. The company came with a small client list and one truck. For years Larry and Myrna ran the business out of their home and stored materials in a small one car garage. In 1982 the business was moved to an old commercial building in the same neighborhood. The building was in terrible shape and has since been completely remodeled. The business is still located in the same building today. In 1994 I took over as President and owner of the business. I was brought up with my parent's work ethics and still strive to give my customers the quality job and respect they deserve. I've chosen to keep the business small and manageable. This way we are able to provide a personal touch to our customers. We have 3 trucks on the road every day, and are ready to provide any and all services to our residential and commercial customers. To this day we still only specialize in what we know best, the sales, service and installation of garage doors and garage door openers.
