The Sudanese Petroleum Pipelines Company - affiliated to the Ministry of energy & mining - is one of the public sector companies which has been fou nded in the year 1977 mainly to transport petroleum products from the source at port Sudan refinery to Alshagara depot at Khartoum for distribution to the consumption areas . The company was established and known under the following names: 1976 Petroleum Products Pipelines Public Corporation (PPPPC). 1981 Incorporated with General Petroleum Corporation as the dept. of General Administration for Transportation (GAT). 1993 Petroleum Pipeline Directorate (PPD). 1995 Sudanese Petroleum Pipelines Co. as one of Ministry of Oil companies (SPPC) 2009 Restructured as SPPC and five subsidiaries: SCOS, SPPT, SPP-Final, CORAL and PSSC 2011 PETROLINES for Pipes & Engineering Works Holding Co LTD.Read more
