Description:

Strickly Salsa has produced many successful shows including: "Spring Madness," a 2002 showcase of Toronto's best dance companies; "Breakers," a performance that brought Toronto's top Jazz, Latin and R&B musicians and dancers to the same stage and the sold-out 1993 production "Tango Vive" that gathered many talented dancers and singers from Toronto, Miami and Montreal together in a spectacular tango theater and dinner show. The company performs regularly with local Toronto musicians, and has shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as: the king of the timbales Tito Puente, the Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz, Oro Solido, Sonora Carruseles, Lalo Rodriguez, and Jiro to name a few. We have had the pleasure of working with many corporations and organizations including: the Directors Guild of Canada, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Toronto Blue Jays, Ontario Place Latin Carnival, Canada's Wonderland Latin Festival, Tele-Latino Network, Sprint Canada, Nortel, CIBC, Royal Bank, Blue Mountain, Hong Kong Lions Club, Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society, The Hudson's Bay Company, the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Consulate of Argentina, the Royal York Hotel, the Hilton, and the Marriott. We specialize in high quality and professional theme productions that emphasize the fullness and flavour of Hispanic countries such as Mexico, Argentina, the islands of the Caribbean and Spain. We cater to all the specific needs of our clients, and can customize costumes and choreography for many other types of productions. As well as Latin entertainment we provide Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Tap shows, among others.
