Step Ahead Networking

Step Ahead Networking (Formerly Elevate Networking) brings a new twist to the business networking world in Queens and Long Island. We are a one-per-industry networking group that meets on a regular basis, but we meet once a month, rather than once a week, allowing busy business-people to have more time for getting business done. Like the giants in... the networking industry, we have multiple chapters, but unlike the giants, there is no fee to apply, our pricing is reasonable and you only have to commit for three months the first time. Subsequent renewals are annual. Since we meet once a month, any meeting that falls on a holiday or is canceled for weather will be rescheduled at another date. All of our meetings have a facilitator, which means that the person running the meeting is not there to promote their own business, but to make sure that every member receives maximum value. Of course, you also have to do your part. With monthly meetings, attendance is particularly important, so absence and lateness will be tracked, and every member is encouraged to bring value to the group in whatever way they can, which may include: giving referrals to other members holding individual meetings with other members outside of regular meeting hours bringing guests and/or new members to meetings making useful introductions, even if it's not direct business offering discounts on goods and services to other group members bringing relevant articles/education to the attention of the group We will periodically hold inter-chapter mixers, which will allow all of our members the opportunity to meet members from other chapters. Sponsorships for these events, which will be held in the evening will be available for those members who wish to call special attention to their business. Members can also visit another chapter once per quarter and only pay the fee for food, as long as there is no category conflict with someone in that chapter.
