One Community, the Kirklees Community Foundation, is a registered charity, and one of 46 Community Foundations in the UK. The Foundation is a vehic le for charitable giving. One Community works with individuals, families and companies to design bespoke grant making strategies that target particular issues, or focus on particular geographical areas. The Foundation provides funding for the many charitable activities that take place throughout Kirklees every year, in the form of grants. With the generosity and involvement of our donors, (individuals and businesses) we have supported over 300 local voluntary groups and projects since 2010. The Foundation is an accredited member of the United Kingdom Community Foundations (UKCF). he UKCF is the membership organisation for Community Foundations that work across the UK to raise then distribute money directly to local good causes.Read more
