Northlight Capital Partners LLC is a real estate credit private equity firm that manages capital on behalf of institutional clients. Since inceptio n, NCP has managed and advised multiple investment vehicles totaling more than $300 million. Since inception, NCP has acted as an advisor or manager for the following funds: Raised in 2011 through a family-office, NCP advised NTIs investments in multiple real estate bankruptcy situations providing long term capital solutions to the stakeholders. Most notable were NTIs debtor-in-possession (DIP) and bankruptcy exit loans to Specialty Trust, a mortgage real estate investment trust based in Reno, NV. Raised in 2014 as a blind, co-mingled fund, NREOFI acquired portfolios of non-performing loans and other distressed properties on behalf of its clients. Notable transactions include the acquisition and redevelopment of Gerdau Ameristeels brownfield site in Perth Amboy, NJ as well as the acquisition of a $70 million non-performing loan portfolio secured by real estate in several states. Raised in 2017 as a blind, co-mingled fund, NREOFII exclusively acquired portfolios of sub-performing loans, non-performing loans and deficiency judgments across the United States. Most notable was NREOFIIs acquisition of a $325 million non-performing and $1 billion deficiency judgment portfolio secured by real estate collateral. NCP is currently raising NREOFIII, which will employ the same strategy utilized in our previous three investment vehicles. NCP has provided co-investment opportunities to its limited partners and investors.
