Through Institute each year, Miamis Next Leaders trains and develops young progressive professionals who have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to Miami through their involvement in the community. We believe that in order to make a better Miami, we need driven, compassionate, and impact-oriented leaders in a variety of sectors pushing for progressive change. Institute is the formal leadership training course for Miamis Next Leaders. Participants spend five weekends creating a deep network of allies and learning about issues affecting our community. Institute participants will partake in opportunities including but not limited to the following: Participate in skill-building trainings relevant for professionals in all sectors through dynamic workshops; Immerse themselves in issues affecting Miami alongside community leaders and change makers; Identify specific personal leadership and career goals and a personal plan of action to impact the community through a capstone project; Engage with other progressives working across Miami through our alumni network; and, Receive coaching from a mentor who will support them on their path to leadership development and personal growth. The Blueprint Series is a series of educational events held year-round that are geared towards immersing our community leaders into a holistic dialogue about the current issues affecting Miami. The Blueprint Series addresses a wide range of topics to create a network of leaders that understands and integrates the needs and points of view of Miamis diverse community.
