Founded in 1971, Lancaster Radiology Associates, Ltd. (LRA) has grown to more than 30 radiologists providing diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services to Lancaster General including the Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster General Women and Babies Hospital, Kissel Hill Health Center, Willow Lakes Health Center, the MRI Group, LLP and Lancaster P.E.T. Partnership, LLP. In addition, LRA provides professional radiology services to many area physician groups including Lancaster General Medical Group and Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. Lancaster Radiology Associates currently provides over 500,000 professional diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures per year and ranks as one of the 75 largest private radiology practices in the nation. Lancaster Radiology Associates physicians provide professional radiology services on-site to Lancaster General Hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We are one of the only radiology groups in Pennsylvania to provide this level of service to the community. Because of our strong relationship with LG Health, Lancaster Radiology Associates has access to the most advanced radiology equipment. LG Health utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system for accuracy of patient clinical information. EPIC, along with the advanced Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) and digital imaging, allows our radiologists to communicate reports efficiently to physicians ensuring an accurate and timely diagnosis.
