Who is Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics

The Colorado Ultraviolet Spectroscopy Program (CUSP) is an astrophysics research group at the University of Colorado Boulder. CUSP uses a combinati on of observation and space-borne experiments to study exoplanets and their host stars, protoplanetary disks, supernova remnants and the ionizing radiation output of massive stars. CUSP comprises more than 30 researchers, including undergraduate and graduate students, research scientists, engineers, and faculty. CUSP grew out of the strong tradition in ultraviolet astrophysics at the University of Colorado built on NASAs Far-Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer, the Hubble Space Telescopes Cosmic Origins Spectrograph, and suborbital payloads. CUSP is currently led by Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences professors Brian Fleming, Kevin France, and James Green.Read more
