Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) is a leading vocational education and training institute in Kiribati offering in-demand award and short courses for trades and non-trades industries. KIT is a government-owned TVET Institute; a division of the Government of Kiribati Ministry of Employment and Human Resource (MEHR), working in close partnership with the Marine Training Centre (MTC). Each year, KIT enrols over 280 students into our Betio and Bikenibeu campuses, with over 400 students participating in accredited study each term. KIT launched its Kiritimati Island campus in March 2019. Our campuses offer a friendly, safe, clean, and culturally sensitive training environment with modern resources and support services.
