Description:

International Guitar Exchange is a Canadian company dedicated to serving the professional classical guitar community as well as students and guitar aficionados in Canada and elsewhere. Our stock includes both new and used guitars. On these pages you will find a selection of hand-crafted, classical guitars from makers such as José Ramirez, Paulino Bernabé (the "Dean" of the Madrid school), Hermann Hauser, Antonio Marin and many others. Our instruments are carefully selected by a professional guitar player and teacher. They are chosen to suit the needs of concert players as well as serious students and guitar lovers. Each instrument is examined to ensure that it meets the highest quality standards in craftsmanship and sound. There have been many requests that we carry more affordable guitars which still provide both quality of sound and craftsmanship. In response to these requests, and after examining instruments from many sources, we have discovered the line of Antonio Sanchez classical guitars. These instruments made a strong impression on us as they are well crafted, very nicely finished and produce a very impressive sound. The playability is excellent and the sustain is exceptional. These instruments are made in Valencia, Spain and all except one model come with a solid wood top. Made in the Spanish tradition, they range in price from a low of $500 (Cdn) to around $5000 for the top of line, hand crafted model. This top end instrument compares very favourably to the Ramirez 1A model both in quality of the sound and craftsmanship, yet is available at half the price. International Guitar Exchange is pleased to be the Canadian distributor of these guitars. We invite you to review our selection and contact us for your classical guitar needs.
