Who is Grupo Ferrari
Grupo Ferrari is made up of a handful of companies that occupy different links in the chain of agricultural services and agro-industrial production , based in Chacabuco. It began its activities in 1983, as a result of the partnership between Royco Ferrari and his father Rodolfo "Fito" Ferrari, with a grain storage facility at km 213 of National Route No. 7 as a Family SME venture, which provided conditioning services, logistics, storage and marketing commodity grains. In 1998, the acquisition of a new storage facility in Rawson (Bs.As.) marked a first milestone in the trajectory of the incipient Group, which allowed it to expand the arrival of its services to more customers in an area of larger production scale farming. The new millennium was near and technological innovation had already charted a course with new winds in Argentine agriculture. In this scenario, it incorporated the business unit for the production of autogamous seeds through an agreement with Nidera Seeds, taking on a strong commitment to the intellectual property of plant varieties. From this, opened the possibility to market agricultural inputs; thus, Agronomy was born as a specific business unit that articulates origination with storage, together with a wide offer of exchange options, capitalization and financing of inputs; with a focus on continuous improvement and environmental, social and economic sustainability. Subsequently, in order to advance in diversification and value addition, the Grupo Ferrari management formed new companies that gave rise to a logistics company and an extruder oil company in Cucha-Cucha (Bs.As.) with capacity to process 110 daily metric tons of soy. These ventures maintain the family business spirit, which has already incorporated its third generation with new energy and innovation and the firm commitment to generate new jobs and local development, in perfect harmony with the family tradition.Read more
