Who is Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association
The Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association "GTJGA" was formed nearly 35 years ago to encourage the development of Tampa Bay area competitive junior golf in a manner that is professional. We believe in allowing personal and professional growth for juniors between six years old through high school graduation. GTJGA conducts one day tournaments on a monthly basis during the school year. GTJGA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Membership and tournament entry fees are kept at an affordable level and financial assistance is available to families that demonstrate need. GTJGA depends on the support of our host clubs that donate their courses to the juniors and receive revenue from spectator cart rental, range balls, concessions and practice rounds. We also rely on donations from individuals and grants from organizations such as the Florida Junior Golf Council and the Tampa Sports Club Foundation. In an effort to keep entry and membership fees as low as possible, GTJGA is seeking sponsors for activities and services that improve the overall tournament experience for our junior players. With your help, we can continue the traditions that have made GTJGA the leader in junior golf in the Tampa Bay area.
