The Law Office of GANNAM, GNANN & STEINMETZ,LLC. was formed in 2006, but its history can be traced back to 1982 with the formation of its Predecessor Firm, Gannam & Gnann, LLP. After practicing Law for 20 Years with other Savannah Firms, General Practitioner, Michael J. Gannam, decided to open his own Law Office. In 1977 Mike hired J. Hamrick (Rick... ) Gnann, Jr. shortly after his graduation from Law School and a few years later, the Office of Gannam & Gnann, LLP was formed. The Firm expanded seven years later with the addition of Mike's son, Joseph Martin Gannam, who joined the Firm upon being Admitted to the Bar in 1984. In 2003, Michael J. Gannam passed away, leaving Rick and Joe to continue Practicing Law together until 2006, when Savannah Attorney Christian J. Steinmetz III accepted an invitation to join the Law Firm.
