Who is Friends

The Friends of the SPCO is the volunteer organization that supports The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra through educational, social and fundraising activities. The Friends of the SPCO has been supporting The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra for over thirty years-it wasorganized in 1977 and incorporated in 1984. Our goal is to be ambassadors for the SPCO and to help build audiences for the wonderful world of chamber music. In addition to an annual fund-raiser, parties, and other social events, we work with children in the SPCO's Start the Music and Xplorchestra programs, sponsor the Fanfare pre-concert lectures at SPCO concerts, offer a four-week music lecture series three times a year, and sponsor and coordinate the SPCO Youth Chamber Music Competition.Read More
